Usually only thing gets me this well are animals. I like'em a lot more than people 'cause of that. But hey - maybe you got somethin' unique 'bout you that makes it all easier on me?
[Oh no…caught! Kagami sits up, eyes panicked, but before he can lie Chipp goes and says that.
His face settles into a shy smile and he laughs sheepishly, stretching his whole body out and not caring that half his torso is dangling over the floor.]
Yeah, maybe! Most humans are so good at lying to themselves and others…so it’s not just you. Playing their game can be a bit exhausting. But I think I like you! Talking to you is easy.
[Different!! He has accomplished something. He readjusts himself so he’s curled up again.]
I would be devastated. I can’t let that happen, Chipp! Other than Nenonen becoming a flower, that’s the one thing I can’t allow to happen. Have you ever disappointed them?
